About these terms

These terms apply to the EasyPrompter website, the EasyPrompter web app and the EasyPrompter app for iPhone, iPad and Mac (together, "EasyPrompter"). EasyPrompter is provided by DynamicDigital sp. z o.o., Aleje Jerozolimskie 181b, 02-222 Warsaw, Poland ("Dynamic Digital", "we"). By using EasyPrompter you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

The service

EasyPrompter is a teleprompter that works in your browser and as an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It comes in two forms:

  • Free, without an account: the full teleprompter, one script at a time. Scripts are not saved or stored.
  • Pro subscription, with an account: scripts saved and synced across devices, as many scripts as you like, remote control from another device, practice links, the script editor, the AI script writer with a daily fair-use limit, installing the app, and priority support.

On the web, Pro also includes AI media tools in the video editor, paid for with AI credits (see AI credits).

We keep improving EasyPrompter and may change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what Pro subscribers get, we'll tell them at least 30 days ahead, and they can cancel before it takes effect.

Accounts

Accounts are only needed for Pro. You sign in with Apple, with Google, with your email address and a password, or with an email sign-in link, and you're responsible for keeping that email account and your password secure. You must give accurate information and be at least 16 years old, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

Pro bought on the web

This section applies when you buy Pro on the web. If you buy Pro in the app for iPhone, iPad or Mac, Apple sells it and the terms in EasyPrompter on iPhone, iPad and Mac apply instead.

  • Price. On the web, Pro costs €11.99 per month or €69 per year. Prices are in euros and include VAT.
  • Payment. Stripe processes payments on the web. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. Cancel anytime in the billing portal (Manage subscription in the web app's account sheet). Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and isn't renewed after that. Apart from the 14-day guarantee below, we don't refund the rest of a period you've already started.
  • 14-day guarantee and right of withdrawal. If you live in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of first subscribing, without giving a reason. Pro starts as soon as you pay, because you ask us to start it straight away. If you change your mind within those 14 days, email info@easyprompter.app from your account's address and we'll refund your first payment in full within 14 days. This guarantee applies to everyone who buys Pro on the web, wherever you live.
  • Price changes. If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price. You can cancel before then if you don't want to continue.

AI credits

AI credits pay for generating media with the AI tools in the web video editor, such as music, sound effects, images and video clips.

  • Pro needed. You need an active Pro subscription to buy AI credits and to use them. If Pro ends, your credits stay on your account and you can use them again when Pro is active.
  • Buying credits. Credits are sold on the web in packs, at the prices shown when you buy. Prices are in euros and include VAT. A pack is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Stripe processes the payment.
  • What things cost. Before each action you see how many credits it costs, and that's what you pay. Credits are taken when the action starts. If it fails, is refused by a content filter, or doesn't finish in time, the credits go back to your account automatically.
  • No expiry, no cash value. Credits don't expire. They aren't money: you can't exchange them for cash, transfer them to another account or sell them.
  • Unused credits aren't refunded, except in the cases below.
  • 14 days to withdraw from an unused pack. You can withdraw from a credit pack within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, if you haven't used any of its credits. We'll refund the full price within 14 days. At checkout you ask us to add the credits straight away and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for a pack once you use any of its credits. Credits are used oldest pack first.
  • When we refund unused credits. We refund the unused credits, at the price you paid for them, if:
    • we close your account for a reason other than your serious breach of these terms;
    • we stop offering AI credits, or a change we make means you can no longer use them;
    • you withdraw from Pro under the 14-day guarantee: this covers packs bought since that Pro subscription started;
    • we raise the credit cost of actions, and you ask within 30 days after the change. This covers credits you bought before it. We'll email you about a rise at least 30 days ahead.
  • Deleting your account deletes any unused credits, and they aren't refunded. Before you confirm, we show you how many you have.
  • How to withdraw or ask for a refund. Email info@easyprompter.app from your account's address, or use the withdrawal form.

EasyPrompter on iPhone, iPad and Mac

EasyPrompter is also an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, which you download from Apple's App Store. These terms apply to the app as they do to the website and the web app, with the following additions for Pro bought in the app.

  • Buying Pro in the app. Pro bought in the app is sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, at the price shown in the app, in your local currency.
  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Managing and cancelling. You manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple Account's subscription settings.
  • Refunds. Apple handles refunds for Pro bought in the app, under Apple's terms. The 14-day guarantee above applies to Pro bought on the web.

  • Apple's licence terms. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app, in addition to these terms.
  • One Pro on every platform. Pro bought in the app or on the web works on every platform: sign in with the same account on the web, iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Pro can also be bought on the web. Those purchases have their own terms on our website.

AI-generated scripts and media

The AI script writer and the AI tools in the video editor use AI models from third-party providers to write text and to make music, sound effects, images and video clips.

  • Check what you get. AI output can be inaccurate, unsuitable or not what you asked for. Review every script and every piece of media before you use it: you're responsible for what you publish.
  • Using what you make. As far as we and our providers are able to, we let you use what you generate for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. AI-made media may not be protected by copyright, may resemble other people's work, and others may generate similar media. We don't guarantee that it is unique or that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights.
  • Content filters. The models refuse some requests. A refused request doesn't use any credits.
  • Say when it's AI. If you publish realistic AI-generated images, video or audio of real people, places or events, make clear it was generated by AI, as EU law requires. Generated files may carry a marker identifying them as AI-generated: don't remove it.
  • Fair use. Fair-use limits keep the service available for everyone, and we may limit use that looks automated or abusive.

Your content

Your scripts, your recordings and the media you make belong to you, as far as anyone can own them. Scripts in the free teleprompter stay in your browser and we never receive them. If you have Pro, you give us only the permission we need to run the service:

  • to store, sync and display your scripts
  • to keep your videos and generated media in your library
  • to send your AI requests (your descriptions, any images you choose, and the audio of recordings you ask us to transcribe) to our AI providers

You're responsible for having the right to use any text, image or recording you put into EasyPrompter.

Acceptable use

Don't use EasyPrompter to break the law, infringe other people's rights, or create content that is harmful, hateful or deceptive. In particular, don't use the AI tools to:

  • make images, video or audio of a real person without their permission, or imitate someone's voice or likeness
  • deceive people with fake events, statements or documents
  • make sexual content involving minors, or sexual content of anyone without their consent
  • harass people or make hateful content
  • copy protected works, characters, brands or voices you have no right to use

Don't attack or overload the service, and don't try to get around usage limits or security measures. If you do, we may suspend or close your account. If we close an account with Pro bought on the web for a reason other than a serious breach of these terms, we'll refund the unused part of that subscription. Refunds for Pro bought in the app are handled by Apple.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep EasyPrompter reliable. Still, we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, so have a backup when a recording really matters. We aren't liable for indirect losses or for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee. For businesses, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there. If something goes wrong, please email us first: most problems can be solved quickly that way.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For changes that matter to Pro subscribers, we'll email you at least 30 days before they apply. You can cancel before then if you don't agree.

Withdrawal form

You can withdraw by email, or with this form. You don't have to use it.
