Record your take
Press Start camera, then Record, and read your script under the lens. When you stop, press Save to my videos, on the web or in the iPhone, iPad and Mac app.
Open the video editor
Press Video editor next to your script, on a computer, and Start from a take. Everything else in Your videos is one click from a track.
Cut, dress it up, export
Split and trim the takes, add B-roll, music, sound effects and titles, set the levels and the color, then press Export for an MP4.

The editor opens on your takes. Pick one and it goes on the main track, with the video in its shape. Or start a new video in Horizontal, Vertical or Square.

No empty canvas and no hundred-button toolbar. Every project starts with the tracks videos like yours are built from, and each file in Your videos has buttons for the tracks it can go on.
- Main videoYour takes. Trim the start and the end, split at a stumble, delete the bad bit and put the good parts in order.
- B-rollPictures and clips drawn over your face while you keep talking: a product, a screen, a place. Transitions in and out.
- MusicA bed under your voice, with its own volume, fades, and ducking that lowers it while you talk.

Make the take look and sound like you meant it
Select a clip and its settings open on the right, in a few tabs: Transform, Color, Audio and Speed. Every change shows in the player straight away.
Sound
Volume and fades for every clip, audio ducking to lower the music while you talk, and a sound levels mixer for the whole video.
Color
White balance with presets like Daylight and Tungsten, color wheels for the shadows, midtones and highlights, curves and HSL.
Crop, titles and more
Crop and scale to frame yourself tighter, add titles from the Text tab, transitions between clips, and speed changes.
AI Generate · credits
No music? No B-roll? Make them in the editor.
Open the AI Generate tab. Describe it, or let EasyPrompter listen to your take. Every button shows its price in credits before anything is made, and what's made lands on its track and in Your videos.
- Music in a style (Corporate, Lo-fi, Cinematic, Acoustic, Electronic, Calm), with your own touch, made as long as your video and placed on Music
- Sound effects from a few words, like “a soft whoosh” or “a cash register ding”, placed at the playhead
- B-roll from your words: EasyPrompter listens to a take, plans a picture for each moment that needs one, and you change or untick shots before you pay for the stills

Video editor questions
Is the video editor free?
No, the video editor is part of Pro, with Your videos (10 GB in your account). The teleprompter, eye contact and the camera stay free. The editor is in beta: everything on this page works, and we're still adding to it.
What does beta mean here?
The editor works and you can publish what you make with it, but it's new. Some things will change as we hear from you. If something doesn't work, tell us from the feedback link in the app.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The editor runs in your browser on a computer: press Video editor next to your script in the EasyPrompter web app, and it opens in a new tab. Chrome or Edge works best. The editing and the export happen on your computer, so there's nothing to download and no render queue.
Can I edit on my phone or iPad?
No, the editor needs a computer screen, with a mouse or a trackpad. Record wherever you like, on the web or in the iPhone, iPad and Mac app, then edit on your computer. Your takes wait for you in Your videos.
How do my takes get into the editor?
Press Save to my videos after a take, in the web app or in the iPhone, iPad and Mac app: it goes to Your videos, and the editor shows everything in Your videos. Start a project from a take, or add any file to a track with one click. Clips from any camera go in with Add files.
Which files can I use?
Video in MP4, WebM or MOV, sound in MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC or OGG, and pictures in PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 2 GB each. Other pictures, like iPhone HEIC photos, are saved as JPEG or PNG. Your videos holds 10 GB in all.
What does the export give me?
An MP4 (H.264) or a WebM file, from 720p up to 4K, which uploads to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and every other platform. It downloads to your computer, and one click keeps a copy in Your videos.
Can I make vertical videos for Reels, Shorts and TikTok?
Yes. Start a new video in Vertical for Reels, TikTok, Shorts and Stories, Horizontal for YouTube and websites, or Square for feeds and ads. Starting from a take gives the video the take's shape. Crop and scale each clip to fill the frame.
Where is my project saved?
In the browser, on the computer you edit on: the start screen lists your recent projects. Your takes and files stay in Your videos, in your account. To finish a video on another computer, export it there from the same takes.
What can I make with AI, and what does it cost?
Music in a style, as long as your video, for 60 credits; a sound effect from a few words for 3 credits; and B-roll from your words: 10 credits to plan it from a take of up to 3 minutes, then from 3 credits per picture and from 45 credits per 5 seconds to make a picture move, depending on the model you pick. Credits come in packs of 900 for €9 or 10,000 for €99, need an active Pro subscription, and don't expire. Every button shows its price in credits first, and if something fails the credits come back.
Do I get a refund on credits?
Yes, a full refund within 14 days if you haven't used any credits from that pack. Once you use some, the right of withdrawal for that pack ends, as you agree when you buy. See the terms for AI credits.
